TL;DR: If you accept the cookie banner, we track anonymous usage with Google Analytics 4 to see which install paths work. No ads, no sharing, no personal data, no profile-building. If you reject, we see nothing but an aggregate ping.
What we collect
Only if you accept the cookie banner, we collect standard Google Analytics 4 signals: page views, referrer, device type, country-level geography, anonymous session ID. GA4 anonymizes IP addresses by default and does not build a cross-site profile. We don't run ads, don't use remarketing, don't share data with Google advertising products.
Events we record (only after consent): which Download CTA you clicked, which AI icon you picked in the "Ask an AI about Mast" section, whether you copied the Homebrew command, whether you clicked through to the docs, how far down the page you scrolled.
If you reject consent, Google's Consent Mode v2 still sends one anonymous "someone visited" ping with no cookies and no identifiers. It counts you in aggregate traffic but nothing else.
What we don't
- No ads. This is a static marketing site for a developer tool. There's nothing to sell that requires tracking.
- No cross-site tracking. We don't embed Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, or any other ad-network beacon.
- No data sales. Your visit data is not sold, licensed, or shared with third parties beyond Google's own GA4 infrastructure (Google is the processor, we're the controller).
- No personal information. We don't ask for your email, name, or any account credentials. There's no login on this site.
- No tracking of the Mast desktop app itself from this site. The app has its own telemetry story (see Mast docs / privacy). This page is about the marketing site, usemast.sh.

Your choices
Use the button below to reset your consent. After clicking, the banner reappears on your next page load so you can decide again.
We also automatically opt you out if your browser sends a Do Not Track header or the Global Privacy Control signal. Firefox, Brave, DuckDuckGo browser, and most privacy-focused tools do this by default.
